Many future business leaders attended the first FBLA meeting
of the year, on September 9th. Matters discussed included dues, the
state tests, volunteer opportunites and concessions. FBLA is
open to anyone who wants to learn about business and have a good time. This year they welcome new advisor Tricia Law, who you may know from the library or RCLC. They will be having their annual BBQ at Lake Marie on Monday September 15, provided it's not raining. It'll be a fun event, with games, lots of good food, and homemade ice cream. Also being planned is a fundraiser at Tsalila where they will be doing fish printing on shirts. Fall Conference, Districts and State are being thought about too. All in all, FBLA is looking forward to a fun year! |
