Judgment Day is Everyday
by Crystal
Bonnet
Everyday we
judge each other, for different reasons but we think its okay to hurt others,
to make them feel low. Then students feel better about themselves; to
hurt someone else when they're down. We all have "labels". The most
common are preps, loners, or nerds.
We get judge for not having name brand clothing, what
we do at school, or at lunch, the color of our skin, and the language we
speak, everything and anything.
People who judge they get judged, too. We're not better
than each other, we're all the same. Just because some students don't
have enough money to get nice things, like cell phones or cars, doesn't
mean that they're better. It hurts a lot of people, the way people
are judged makes them feel bad. Sometimes if they get it everyday
all the time, they get depressed, sometimes so far into depression it goes
to far as suicide. Then it's to late.
The next day you come to school, that person is gone you just
never know. It's pretty scary when you know you have the power to
hurt someone.

To Share
or Not To Share
By Anonymous
For
the most part, it's a huge hassle sharing a locker with someone else. Everyday
I have to deal with very heavy books falling on my head. Along with
being short and having shelves way-way too tall doesn't help!
You're always waiting for the other person to move out of the
way just so you can pick up or drop off a book. So now I have an even
better chance of being tardy! All in all it's just a very hectic setup
that causes lots of headaches.

Iraq
By Andrea Campbell
Iraq; the start of our nation's troubles. It seems that the Bush
family will never rest until Saddam Hussien's blood is on their heads. This
task may have been complicated but President Bush cannot just leave Iraq with
nothing.
Believe me George Jr. would not be sufficed to follow
in his daddy's footprints, the former president Bush, and serve only one
term. Yet his chance of being re-elected are slim.
During his term our dollar exchange has been lowered, the country
has a huge budget deficit and the Twin Tours collapsed. Of course
none of this is President Bush's fault, our economy has been slowly collapsing
since the 1990's and the President didn't order Osama Bin Laden to divvies
a plan to kill thousands of innocent American lives.
Why then do we blame President Bush for all our problems?
The answer, Iraq. Not only do our schools have no money but the
amount of many spent on Iraq is ridiculous when North Korea has nukes! The
reason for bombing Iraq is clear, the Bushes want oil, the American people
are not stupid, we know that their only reason for bombing a country that
was not an eminent threat is because the Bushes deal with it.
Bush says that he's fighting terrorism. Try again Bush,
try to trick us again. Try trillions of dollars in black gold. I
will support the troops but I will not support the President. Our
troops are gibing there lives for Bush's treasure trove of oil. This
is Vietnam all over again. It is time the American people fight back.
