Team Vs. Individual

Softball is great. Playing a team sport is way lot better than hitting a 2 inch ball into a little hole. in the ground. Personally, golf is self centered because you are more worried about your own score but in softball, you need to support the team and make an effort. What is the point of walking for ever and a day when you can run 60 feet to each base. The objective of the game is not just winning, but to work as a team. and to all golfers, I'd love to hear your response in what the point to golf is! To all the softball players I love ya!

Gay Marriage

I am one of the many people against gay marriage and the lifestyle altogether. I too find homosexual relationships wrong. I know and understand that people will be gay, and that is their choice. I don't think it is something you are born with, it is a choice. The fact that people are gay doesn't really bother me that much. I don't agree with it, and I wish it didn't happen, but like I said, it's their choice, and it is their life, if that is what they want that's fine, I am not the one to judge them. However, Legalizing gay marriage i think is wrong. Not just because of religion. I think that gay marriage would really start a bad chain of reactions. I mean, what comes next? Will men be able to have two or three wives? will it be legal for three women to share five husbands? Will is be legal for two gay brothers to get married? Like I said I think that homosexuality is wrong and putting a seal of approval doesn't make it right.

I personally don't think that it is ok to kill your child even if it is unborn or not developed yet. It is or will be a human being no matter how you look at it and if you are willing to do bad things that put you in that position then its your fault to and you should face you problems and consequences that come along with it.
If someone kills someone and get the chair for it, then why cant a mother get the chair for killing her child, it is technically a child it does have emotions obviously. That's my opinion though.

In response to the "whining about Measure 30" editorial by Anonymous: If the author thinks we are whining about the lack of funding for public education, I would be interested to know how many local school district budget work sessions the author has attended. The impact of Measure 30 failing leaves our school district in an impossible situation of cutting into programs and/or instructional days to deal with the loss of funds to our district. We are not whining! We are concerned about the futures of our children and youth.
