Some of these topics include Business Communications, Public Speaking, and
Marketing.
FBLA consists of 40 members. 15 of those 40 are seniors: Abby Harris, Rachel Johnson, Kelly Merschel, Jessica Terra, Josh Vernon, Vanessa Leach, Denise Redding, Karen Lancaster, Alicia Larson, Crystal Lane, Faith Kreskey, Jason Epley, Chris Lechuga, Ashley Croy, and Will Johnsen. Advisor Mrs. Law said, "We are fortunate to have 40 high school members and a new middle level group of 8 students going to District Skills this year. We are prepared and ready to go!" A New Tradition? by Michele Kirk The Braves bus is
always the hopeful mode of
transportation during any away sporting event, but while riding it nobody ever really thinks about who
puts the time into cleaning it.Upon the request of J,V. girls basketball coach, Mr. Fulps, both the J.V. and Varsity girls basketball teams cleaned the Braves bus on Thursday, January 29th. Mr. Fulps says that he would like to start a tradition of when you ride it, you wash it! Of course this doesn't mean every single time, but the teams would rotate turns washing the bus. The bus driver liked the idea and hopes that it sticks. He also says that by cleaning it, the students and athletes will keep better care of it and see it as more of a privilege. |
