<>Girls get First Win at
Harrisburg Tournament

    The Harrisburg tournament was held December 9 and 10.  Both Reedsport varsity basketball teams left in separate little buses left Friday from school at 1:25 and returned on Saturday around 8:30.  The girls played first against Harrisburg.  The first Reedsport game at the tournament happened to be the only victory for the Braves with a score of 45-31.  Later that night the varsity boys played Harrisburg as well.  They lost 43-54.  After the games the teams returned to Eugene to stay at the Phoenix Inn.
    The boys started off the Saturday games at two o'clock against last years Football rival Heptner.  Though the boys lost and scores for this game unavailable Skyler Squglio made All Tournament Team.
    The girls followed the boys by playing Santiam Christian where they lost 37-46.  Deanne Huebner received All Tournament Team, and the varsity team took home the second place trophy.
