The publications staff members who went had to buy a gift for a boy or girl that did not exceed 10 dollars for a gift exchange. Financial Aide By Heather Leach Finical Aid Night was a great help for seniors. The presentation covered many important things such as scholarships, deadlines, and different kinds of grants. Information about scholarships, grants, and student loan were given us along. The speaker also stressed participation and how the more one participates the more scholarships are available. A FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) packet was handed out along with an explanation of how to use the packet wisely. “She presented a lot of information. It was helpful to get lots of info about where to get money for college.” senior Lydia Tollefson said. She went over the deadlines for the different scholarship, colleges, and the FAFSA application. “It was nice to have some background information on something as important as the FAFSA.” Carter Duval stated after the meeting. |
