Varsity Boys Win Their First

   By Travis Leach

The Reedsport Braves finally had a home game!
The Varsity boys got a big win.  Also their first win.  They had some better luck at home against the Mapleton Sailors.  They won 53-51.  Daniel Plotz and Skyler squiglio had a great game.  Daniel winning the tip off and many battles in key. Skyler breaking the full court press and draining the threes.  The varsity boys have a record of 1-2. They play next at the Harrisburg Tournament on December 9-10.
The Varsity girls weren't so lucky at home. They were dominated by the Sailors for a second time.  The girls had some difficulty stopping the Sailors number 24 forward.  They lost again with a score of 43-46. They have a record of 0-3. They play at the Harrisburg tournament on December 9-10.
The junior varsity boys are still undefeated. Jason Fishel has been on fire the last few games. He has been Nailing the threes and driving to the hoop with ease. They have the outstanding record of 3-0. The JV doesn't play in the Harrisburg Tournament this weekend.
