By Jill Ellis Rebound is rated PG13. It stars Martin Lawrence, who plays a college basketball coach named Roy, who coaches the Ohio Polytech team. While coach Roy was at a game against  another team, he gets mad at the referee and kickes a basketball, which hits and kills a hawk named Victor who was the other college’s mascot. Because of his behavior at the game, Roy gets banned from the N.C.B.A. He can only come back to the N.C.B.A. if he makes it through a basketball season whithout blowing up. Then he decides to goes back to his old middle school to teach a bunch of loser kids basketball. The Mt. Vernon middle school Smelters have'nt won the championship since Roy was in school. In fact they havent won a game in 12 years. He recruits a few players and turns the team into the winning team they want to be. Roy has to control his anger while trying to beat Mt. Vernon’s biggest rivals the Vikings. The Vikings’ coach just happens to be the person that Roy turned dawn seven times to be his college teams assistant head coach. I give this movie three stars because of its good comedy but it has minimal inspiring ending.
